Dr. Rama Krishna graduated in Dentistry from Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad, in 1990 and further specialised with a post graduation in Orthodontics from the same institution in 1995. His career includes a notable role as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics at SVS Dental College, Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad.
Dr. Nalluri Balarama Krishna is a distinguished leader in dentistry with over three decades of experience. Since 1996, he has been the Chairman and Managing Director of Smiline Dental Hospital (Pvt) Limited in India, where his leadership has established the hospital as a pioneer in dental healthcare.
In 2010, he expanded his influence internationally by founding Smiline Corp in New Jersey, USA, and later founded the Smiline Dental Management Group LLC in the same state.
As an angel investor, Dr. Rama Krishna has mentored many young dentists and entrepreneurs, aiding them in reaching their goals. He also leads “Gifting Smiles,” a CSR initiative of Smiline.
His memberships include IOS, IDA, and T.I.E. Recognized for his contributions, he was honoured as a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics (D.I.B.O) by the Indian Orthodontic Society at the 54th Indian Orthodontic Conference on November 22, 2019.
